Travel is expensive but we all want to do it! Exciting new places, new sounds, sights and people. In this day how can we afford to do anything once we get where we are going? That really is not a hard answer it is just a working answer you are looking for. No matter where you travel to there are things to do and places to see for no or very minimal costs. A little work and a simple search of “free things to do in…” can bring up some amazing facts.
There are concerts in parks, museums that have free days, out door movie nights, state parks in places like Hawaii where you can spend hours seeing flowers, water falls and birds that you could never see in your home area. Beaches are a never ending fun spot for families. Pack yourself lunch and sun screen and you have an entire fun filled day to rest and relax. Journey off those beaten paths to the real places that have grace and charm.
Take the time to meet and greet the people that live in the area. Try stopping at an off beat mom and pop restaurant where the burgers are a few bucks and the people are real and friendly. Ask the locals about things going on in the area.

You can also search on the internet and call the hotel you’re staying at. So don’t put off that long awaited trip because money is short and tight. Your next vacation could cost you very little if you just search and get informed. You will find travel can be affordable and fun, no matter where you fly to there is something free or low cost for everyone!
